2. Turn on your smartphone flashlight and hold it approximately 2 inches away from the TV screen at a slight angle.
3. Look closely right where the flashlight beam hits the panel. If you see ghosted images, menu text, or character outlines moving beneath the flashlight, your glass display panel is 100% fine! Only the LED backlight strips behind the screen need replacement.
